"Its the way you ride the trail that counts"

The lyrics to "Happy Trails"

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.

Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.

Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

  1. I shook Roy's hand when I was about 7 and went to their arena show in Springfield, Mass. He was riding Trigger Jr. and went around the arena ahaking hands. I was thrilled.

Seeing the clip is interesting. The early TV shows all had an announcer for the introduction, clearly left over from radio. Good post, Steve.
