"....it requires almost no human interaction...."

Oh great.   This is beginning to remind me of the Star Trek
episode (#23) when Captain Kirk violates the prime directive
and intervenes in a "clean" war.  The warring parties were fighting
only via computers, although some people then had to check into
disintegration chambers when the computers said they were dead.
Kirk thought the only hope for peace was to make war too
terrible to contemplate, so he destroys the computers they were
waging war with.  Or something like that.  It was a long time ago.
