When you first wake up in the morning, it might be helpful to reflect on your intentions for that day. This is not the massive "What am I going to make of myself?"
question. It can be much simpler. You could say, I aspire to be a bit kinder than yesterday
or My intention is to be a bit more patient when I get frustrated with my coworkers
. Take a moment to reflect on what it is you want to make of your day, even before you get out of bed.
