The good old days..........................weren't

We can whine and complain about life in this day and age, however.........careful what you wish for.  We could be living in Jane Austen's era.  Some nice people at the Huffington Post offer us 13 reasons why that would be a serious step backwards.  Austen (1775-1817) wrote, among other things, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Northanger Abbey, and Mansfield Park.  Enjoy the historical slideshow and be glad.
