Suspicious..................

     Your friendly neighborhood blogger is highly suspicious whenever told that "the science is settled."  So, it is with a grain of salt that today's Opening paragraph post was presented.  SuperFoods.   Hmmmm.  Peanut butter is not on the list, neither is pizza, neither is bacon.   Troubling.
      Anyway, for your edification, here are the fourteen SuperFoods, guaranteed to "change the course of your biochemisry" and "give you more energy, greater protection against disease, and a healthy lifestyle now and for the future.":

Beans                                         Soy
Blueberries                            Spinach
Broccoli                                   Tea - green or black
Oats                                            Tomatoes
Oranges                                    Turkey
Pumpkin                                   Walnuts
Salmon                                     Yogurt

     Actually, my diet often includes most of these.  True, the pumpkin delivery system is pie with whipped cream, but still........  My salmon and turkey intake is very modest, and seasonal, but the only food on the list that is AWOL is soy.  Now - cheeseburgers and fries for dinner?
