The Doors.........................................Light My Fire
While Jim Morrison had the fame, Ray Manzarek had the talent. Ray died last week. Sad news indeed.
This is one of the few times that your faithful blogger opted not to go with the live version of the song. Maybe Jim Morrison is just a bit "off" for my taste, regardless, if you prefer live versions, go here or here

About halfwat thru, he talks about how the band built Light My Fire. Incredible story punctuated with Manzarek sitting atbthe piano decribing the music.
If you listen to the whole interview i think you'll also develop greater respect for Morrison. But like me, you'll hear hwo Manzarek was as much the architect ofnthis group as Morrison was.
Then maybe read No One Here Gets Out Alive. :)
