Written by Clint Ballard Jr., this song was first released in 1963 on the Jubilee label by Dee Dee Warwick. Soon after Betty Everett recorded it on the Vee-Jay label and it became Top 100 hit. Most people will recognize it as the song Linda Ronstadt took to #1 in early in 1975.
