Skipping and climbing in the Heartland.....

The proverb rightly points out that, generally, things are just things.  A thing may be positive or negative in its impact and the way we perceive that thing is what makes the difference.  A rock is just a rock … until we make it into something else.  As one of my favorite Beatles (George) says, in one of my favorite films:  “It’s all in the mind, you know! “.
