An early super group? This version of the Journeymen toiled on the folk music circuit from 1961 to 1964. The trio was John Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas fame; singer and songwriter Scott McKenzie of San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair) notoriety; and singer, banjoist, writer, and teacher Dick Weissman.
