    Now you're really taking me back...hits me right in my teenage heart...

    I dug into this a bit - seems the original version was done in 1939 by Solomon Linda and The Evening Birds. Didn't have the chorus we're attached to - that was added in 1961 for one of the many versions of the song by many different artists who sang it.

    Another beautifully done version is by Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Both the original and this version can be found on YouTube. Of course.

    Go listen. You won't forget it for the rest of the day...
